How to be positive!!

/ˈpäzədiv/ adjective 1. consisting in or characterized by the presence or possession of features or qualities rather than their absence.


There were and still are those hard times when you and even myself are feeling so negative and dark. It is hard to find the positivity because the only thoughts in your head are the bad ones. I went through a patch in my life where the only things I would think are bad negative thoughts. I would put on the fake smile and no one knew anything. It was all an act. It is not healthy at all to feel or be negative. It is just not the way to live happily.


The way I see it, to be positive you have to surround yourself with positive people or things. You need to cut out the negative people because they will only be bringing you down with their negativity. You need to realize they are only making it harder for you to see your true positive side. They fill your body with negative words and thoughts that are teaching your brain to cut out all the positive thoughts. You need to surround yourself with positivity. You need to do the things you love with happy positive people. Sometimes you do not realize the people you are hanging out with are actually bringing you down until someone who you just met tells you, or you parents tell you. You are obviously going to say "no that is not true" but you just have to open your eyes a little more.


Be yourself is a very big thing to being positive. You have to show who you really are. You know who your real friends are because when you are yourself, and that being funny, loud, wild or whatever it is they love you. They will be all off that with you. They will accept you and not try to change you. If they try and change you THEY ARE NOT A REAL FRIEND. You need to see they are just trying to make you someone you aren't. You need to show them from the very beginning who you are and not try to be someone you aren't.


Keeping positive thoughts is good and healthy. You loosen up, smile more (and not fake smile but an actual real smile), you will feel happy. You will feel the positivity in your body. So just get out there, be yourself, and if you have bad people in your life who are bringing you down just cut them out, think positively and be happy!
